:::: where the blazed trail meets the boulevard instant places :: western front, vancouver :: may 16 — june 3 2005 We spent a lot of time walking along and around the length of Broadway, finding objects which were used in the final performance as sources for live video capture. A grand piano in the room was covered with saran wrap to serve as a place to store the objects. The objects also were involved in micro performances on sidewalks and at the beach-- one day we took them to the Museum of Anthropology. For these performances small speakers played minidisc recordings of gamelan instruments which we found stored at the Front. photos
