SLEEPER Live_02 @ Tone Deaf Fest Kingston
October 24, 2014
For this iteration of SLEEPER we set up a performance environment in the new Isabel Bader Concert hall in Kingston, with generative image transforms and multichannel sound. We made purpose-built hardware/software systems to combine analog feedback paths and acoustic sources with custom Max/MSP programs for live sampling, audio spatialization, and 3D image generation.
Recorded live at NAISA Toronto June 10, 2013, excerpt from final section of the three-hour performance broadcast. Live sampling/transforms of voice, objects and modified guitar.
Instrumentation:
Laura Kavanaugh, laptop (custom software for live sampling), voice, amplified objects,
Ian Birse, modified guitar, live sampling.
