:::: collector audio collector performance audio (5700K) Rob Muir gave us a conversation he recorded with a graffitti artist at work. Punctuating the questions and responses are the sounds of a can being shaken and paint being sprayed. We liked the musical quality of the voice, and worked with it by manually changing loop points as the samples played. Cat Hope contributed ten one-minute audio samples which were an assortment of electronic hums and crackles mixed with short flute melodies. The flute passages became an important element in the final performance.
