DAY ONE
This work investigated notions of ownership and free distribution, exploring the miracle of digital reproduction using a photocopier and the text BREAD/FISH.
Video was shot of 10 copies of the text being produced. The light from the photocopier made an intermittent moving pattern that was zoomed into for the right-hand screen.
Audio recordings of the photocopier sounds became pitch-shifted loops of differing durations, which cycled against each other as they accompanied the images on the web page.
