The resulting audio hum was sent to two laptops which sampled the input every 20 seconds using MAX/MSP. These recordings were treated with volume, speed, and equalization filter changes determined by tables that were chosen in a weighted probability program and shared via ethernet. The output of each laptop's audio was split part to the speakers, and part to the other laptop for further processing.
